Check-In Procedure

All guests will receive a code for the late-night lock box on the day of their arrival at around 11am.
The code allows you to access the lock-box and obtain the TWO keys, one key works the lower handle and
the other opens the deadbolt to the suite. If you need assistance, there is a caretaker in the building
and a HELP button under the late-night lock boxes

Laundry

There is paid laundry in the lobby, with dryer sheets and a soap dispenser also in the lobby.
Change for the machines can be obtained from the caretaker.

Printing/Photocopies

There is a combination Printer/Photocopier by Suite 1 for use by guests.
It can be accessed via connection to the wifi network

Bus Tickets are available from the caretaker to use the Winnipeg Transit system.

About your host

I am always available if you need anything, and I have a live-in caretaker in suite one who can assist you also.
If you have rented through AirB&B or any of the other booking sites and have great reviews then you are more than welcome to book my place.
I am working hard to make it an enjoyable stay that people will remember for years to come.
I'm a renovations guy who enjoys refinishing antiques creating new items of interest and loves the Character of this house.
Many changes have happened in my four years of owning the home. Many of my pieces of work are located around the building in different suites.
Most of the units have motion faucets or color-changing faucets. I like to add the new with the retro look as the home was built in 1908.
Hope you love it as much as I do.
The new city of Winnipeg by law state only 29 days per booking. To accommodate longer stays a second or third booking is required.

About the neighbourhood

The home is close to major shopping centers, Winnipeg Arena, University of Winnipeg.
Grab a bus from a two-minute walk and you're on your way to any area of the city. Quite a friendly area with a park close by to relax.
Bike, run, or walk there is easy access to all areas of the city. I have parking in the back of the building or there is street parking out front.

Policies

The property has a Short-Term Rental Accomodation registration number, as per local regulations (STRA-2025-2433742)
Smoke alarms, Carbon Monoxide detectors and external security cameras on-site
There are coded lockboxes which contain room keys for non-contact checking-in or outside of regular hours.
Wifi is available for all guests, Wifi password is obtained on check-in
Televisions in each suite can be connected to Prime, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu
Check-in at 3pm
Check-out by 11am

Month-to-month suites

Unit 2 (Lighthouse) is our Month-to-Month suite which can be booked on a monthly (more than 29 days) basis,
unlike our other suites which can be booked for a maximum of 29 days due to a Winnipeg city by-law.
If you wish to stay longer than 29 days and our Lighthouse suite is being used, we will work with you to book a number of suites
multiple suites sequentially to allow you a longer stay in our building.
We are working to renovate Unit 4 into another month-to-month suite for the future comfort of our guests.
